January 29, 2017 was a sad day after Alexandre Bissonette opened fire in the Quebec City mosque killing 6 innocent worshippers and injuring 19 of them who were all engrossed in remembering the CREATOR. My book takes up the alarming issue of terrorism and the rising tide of Islamophobia - the editorial writer points out, "The Broken Silence explores the real causes of terrorism and its remedies. It also seeks to help non-Muslims to better understand this ancient religion and calls out to Muslims to explore the real values of Islam and regain its true spirit." These days, when we open up major news outlets on internet, we see in very bold headlines the news about US President's Senate trial - it's loaded with partisan bickering and a sickening state of affairs wherein truth may not prevail! But I am glad that simultaneously a sponsored Ad pops up showing some wonderful collection of newly launched books and among them it shows the bright, sunny cover of 'The Broken Silence' exhibiting hope, struggle and movement - a flowing waterfall moves on undeterred by obstacles. Generally the Ads are not pleasing but this time they are! You may check out the contents of the page by clicking on the link: https://www.kobo.com/ca/en/ebook/the-broken-silence
