The subtitle of my forthcoming book reads: “How we can and should speak up against injustices in the Muslim World and beyond.”
The book breaks the silence as I speak against sanctions and injustice caused to a million Iraqi children who all perished pathetically. Recently, I saw a picture of a poster on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/BhjXRc4lC3v/ It is titled ‘Justice For Asifa’ and describes that An eight year old girl was gang raped in a temple for 8 days and her body was later dumped in a street. When you look at the innocent girl’s picture it is felt that she is pathetically screaming to tell one and all including the rapists: "What wrong did I do? Why I am being tortured? Where is justice?" Well, there is no justice for innocent Asifa and there was no justice for the million Iraqi children – they all perished. For sure, we have to speak up against injustices. We don’t want another Asifa to be gang raped, tortured and killed, nor do we want another massacre of a million children, right?
